‘’The recent crisis in eurozone has proved that no rule is efficient enough unless there is robust implementation. Political stability is a prerequisite for economic growth, and development is the key to public prosperity. In the aftermath of a difficult period for Europe, it is upon the Member States to follow what is being jointly agreed and build a strong and sustainable European economy. Cyprus, as an integral part of the European family is leaving the 2013 crisis behind opening up to a new era of economic stability and development. Strong cooperation with the EU institutions is the sine qua non of the new political economy but still a new strategy is needed, in the shade of energy resources discoveries and important political advancements. The panel seeks to assess which is the most beneficial direction for Cyprus and EU in this crossroads.’’
